OH surprised me with a last minute trip to Pondskipper on Wednesday (after I pointed out that it would be cheaper to get the fishing bits he needed in Pboro rather than paying high p&p on ebay ) and I am delighted to say that they were open this time!
I got rushed round a bit by himself and distracted by their gorgeous little dog who kept trying to run off with a couple of my dreads  but I highly recommend it to anyone who is passing by.
I somehow managed to spend just under £50 and now have another floral die cut decoupage kit  and loads of little bits from various kits at really cheap prices.
You can buy parts of all the wonderland kits ie 6 sheets of epoxy stickers for £1.95 or individual sheets of stickers for 75p or the sheets of chipboard or crafty bitz style stickers from various kits for 99p.
The glitter xmas decoupage and teddy decoupage cards tempted me at £4.99 but as they were without the decoupage parts I decided not to go for them. On the way home OH pointed out that I could photocopy them to create my own decoupage. I wouldn't normally copy something I'd bought but it would make sense for these so that's a good excuse to need to go back another day! :o
Does anyone remember the days of the big lads when they used to sell stamps made by a company called Scottish borders stamping? The woman who made and demoed them was called Judith and she lived in Texas despite being very Scottish. I always coveted her dragon/fairytale stamps but couldn't afford them as I was pregnant but I got a dragon one there for just £1.25!!!!! I'm sure they were around £12.99-£15 when they were on tv so I was really chuffed to find them, especially as Pondskipper originally had them for £2.50.
Sorry, just had to share the joy!

Excellent news. Did you tell the lady who you were?

No, there were several ladies in there and they all seemed quite busy so I just mooched happily.
Sadly I haven't used any of it yet as I'm still sorting the craft area of my bedroom which has involved far more work than I envisaged - so far I've swapped wardrobes around between the two bedrooms and ended up having an autumn clean!
