gosh how boring was this OTO - they didn't have any A5 it seems, just daft sizes, they always seem to have dead boring craft OTO's!

I would have bought it if the sizes had been better as I t was a good weight but I never use c6 or small square

That was the same as the 2 sets I got from C&C the other week - & about the same price once p&p is added, so I was too bothered.

I don't purposefully buy many blank pre-scored cards - but I found the sets great for making 'production line' christmas cards or quickie one offs like the new baby boy card I suddenly have to do this week (got the papers at the side of me as I type :D)

Did anybody buy this set of blank cards?

Mine have arrive this morning and the sizing is different from the QVC information

The square cards were listed as 12.5cm and 15cm - what I have received is 9.5cm and 12.5cm.

I've never used 9.5cm cards before because they really are quite tiny - on a plus side though, they won't use too much materials to decorate them :D

If the sizes are wrong blueshowbizz, you could always send them back - you shouldn't have to pay p&p for QVC's mistake, I wouldn't have thought.

Oh and welcome to Craft Telly :D

Hi BSB. I didn't know you were a crafter. I'm LipstickCherry over on st.com btw, sometimes known as Elsie over here. :D

Thanks Winspiration - I'm a very novice crafter and wasn't sure if I was maybe expecting the wrong sizes - I'm quite happy with the 3 larger sizes so will probably keep them and use up the smaller ones for other things :D

Hi LipstickCherry / Anne / Elsie

I'm not a crafter yet - I've made about 6 cards in my lifetime but bought a stamp kit from the last craft day on QVC and decided to make my Christmas Cards this year

I've been reading all the posts on here and deciding that I 'NEED' some of the items that have been mentioned (even though I don't have a clue what to do with them) - I pass a craft shop on my way home at night and you can almost see the staff thinking 'here she comes again' when I pop in with a scribbled list looking for different pens and powders :p

The one I have been visiting gave me a loyalty card on Friday - they must see some potential in me :D

I'm thinking about plucking up the courage to go to one of their card making classes

We have a loyalty card too!

I would absolutely go to a class to learn a new skill. You'll probably find that you're the youngest there, but it's so much easier to learn with someone who really knows what they're doing than by just looking at a magazine or watching the telly. Lots of luck with it!

When I was there on Friday I was trying to listen in while a girl was booking one of the card making classes to find out some details.

Next time I'm in I'll ask for a timetable and more details and hopefully one of the classes will suit me :)

Most people who work in craft shops are crafters themselves and will be only too willing to help and advise someone who is new to it - we just love to chat about our love of crafting. Go for it BSB, and let us know how you get on. :)

Hi Blueshowbizz - big warm welcome to CT.com :)

I've been reading all the posts on here and deciding that I 'NEED' some of the items that have been mentioned (even though I don't have a clue what to do with them)

Don't worry, that happens to all of us on CT.com - we have some experts in tempting you to part with your cash for yummy stash :D

I'm thinking about plucking up the courage to go to one of their card making classes

Go for it!! I keep hoping that some classes will start a bit closer to home for me cos I basically craft on my own apart from when my SIL comes round for a glass of wine & to watch me cuttiing & glittering :D
