Wasn't sure if this was the right place to put this but my faithful paper trimmer died last night after one piece of mountboard too many and my attempts to fix it only destroyed it.
So I am looking for a fairly inexpensive but good quality replacement and would appreciate any advice on where I can get one please.

Lidl were doing a guillotine and paper trimmer combined for £9.99 recently. Might be worth seeing if they have any left.

I have just got the woodware cutter with the interchangeable blades at 15.99it is a good price with two blades which are easy to change and blades available to buy. My craft class uses it as well and it makes a nice noise when cutting. I have a few failed trimmers in the past so thought I would buy one that someone I knew uses and likes.

Any Fiskars will be worth it!

Lidl & Aldi were my first port of call but they had none.

I just received the Cardcraft Plus brochure today and there is a Zision trimmer in it for £8.99 it cuts up to 31cm which is bigger than A4 and it is quite slim. I have also seen slim ones on C & C demos but don't know what kind they are.

Just seen that one on Graphicus website, Turquiose. Does it measure things well like for matting & layering.

I got one from C&C ages ago, but only get on with it sporadically :o I don't know if it's me or the trimmer, but sometimes I can cut fine with it & then others it all goes wonky & puts me off using it again...
IIRC as far as trimmers go, quite a few peeps on here recommended Fiskars when I was wondering what to go for myself. Should have listened I suppose rather than going for the budget option  Mind, I think there were a couple in favour of the Zision
