Well done, Anne - off to a flying start :D
I like a lot of the DCWV stuff, but given that I have used about four sheets in total so far out of the 3 auto delivery orders, I feel that I should abstain
Can't guarantee that it will last though!

I love DCWV too Wins, and am in a similar situation as you regarding the auto-deliveries - have used 2 sheets! But there weren't any plain glitter sheets in the auto-deliveries. Were there?

I'm off work (well only work for an hour lunch time on a Tues)Not keen on TSV either bought the crafters delight when it was a Tsv thought what good value but not used a single bit of it so cant justify any more scrapbook bargains, Really want to buy something but nothing grabbed me yet,

I bought the TSV. I'm attempting to work, but have my laptop on alongside me with QVC live playing on it. So far I've not been that productive....
My confession: I'm "working from home" today ;). Have just set up computer and, to be fair, I have a stack of contract work to get through, and for that I need quiet and not the constant interuptions I get at work. Well, that's my excuse ;). Still, have a conference call booked at 5pm so did need to get some work done!
PS - just window shopping today, spent too much on clothes earlier this month.

Umm, unless I misheard during the launch, the easiest way to stop you would be to remind you that the only difference is in the boxes & albums - all the papers, embellies etc are the same in both options.
I'm not interested in the TSV & was a little horrified about the 'different' options TBH - I thought it was a little nawty...
I'm about to stick it up on the laptop - no chance of watching it on the telly cos Peppa Pig's on - followed by Lazy Town & Dora Explora

My confession is really naughty - I've ended up with both options of the tsv!!!
I'd already ordered the rose (sent to my parents!) and really liked the blue so OH actually said go for it.
I couldn't say no 'cos I've already ordered it could I?! :D

I think we need to keep buying to spend our way out of the credit crunch. Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it.:D

I have just been extremely tempted to buy the Donna Dewberry Fabric painting kit (Aaahhhhhhhgg! Amy's just come on as I type....) - I've never seen Donna & I was quite mesmerised by her techniques & then I saw her blinging up clothes & I'm still contemplating...

I have to confess of all the craft days this is the first one I've actually watched without just flicking through 24 hour product review. I've gone for the tsv in blue so far. I want to do more scrapbooking and I like the look of the other projects which are very different for me.
At the moment in my basket are the DCWV (my favourite) glitter cardstock kit that Anne ordered and the Blossoms and butterflies. Keeping them company are the Prima flowers. I know it's been said that the spice rack is rubbish but the price of the flowers makes it still very good value. I can always use the spice rack in the fire to keep us warm if I don't like it. :D Have no idea if I will check any of this lot out but it seems happy doing the hokey cokey in and out of my basket at the mo.

Managed to watch the demo with Rosemary this morning on the laptop...Interesting but a) I can't see I'd use it much & b) no way can I justify the spend LOL
I think it's cos I'm not particularly a scrapper; I think the BIA & the Big Bite are just more useful if you do loads of scrapbooks - don't really need a Big Bite to punch card...

I was doing a wonderful job of resisting everything... until SCW posted these gorgeous background stamps!:o http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/params.item.587235.cm_scid.crt Oh, well! At £12.15 they are a bargain after all...
(When I say I was doing a wonderful job of resisting everything we're sort of ignoring my little web visit to Joanna Sheen website this morning where my tiny order for EZ Mount accidentally ended up including a posh pink anti static pad & 2 paper packs! They're not from QVC's craft day though, so they don't count, right?!;))

Oh snotty doodles....I've just had a look at the product list for DB's hour which I missed for the school run...I've just watched the K&Co Peppermint Twist kit playback...I really really really shudn't done that...I really really want it & for what you get, it's very good...but...I really really do have enough Christmas stash to make cards for the whole world & have some left over. But that Peppermint Twist kit is soooooooo much nicer than the peel off cards I was doing last year
I haven't bought anything today, to be honest I can't be bothered to watch. lol
I did turn it on a while ago and Claire was presenting, I'm afraid she drives me to despair, so I turned it off after a couple of minutes. lol
I'm not interested in the TSV as I don't scrapbook and I don't like the colours anyway.
The funny thing is I'm scanning all our old negatives and slides on to the computer at the moment, I really should start scrapbooking because of the memories.

I must confess that I caved in when the American Crafts Ginger and Fred rub-ons came on (I have a bit of a thing for rub-ons). In mad panic about which option to order, I ordered both. Am trying not to think about the price, as two lots of postage made it a bit hefty. If only QVC did combined or free postage offers.

I got those too, Buttercup - had a little panic too :D but just plumped for the ginger option.
I was very tempted by the Anna Griffin Christmas papers & embellishments, but have somehow managed to resist, on the grounds that I already have so much Anna Griffin stuff and so much Christmas stuff (including most of her TSV from last year)!

I would guess that the warehouse has all the general items on racks in aisles and the TSV items for that day will be stored on pallets or in cages in a separate area - it's probably quicker for them to pick and pack the TSV if they don't have to locate it first.
I've got visions of a printer churning out despatch notes next to huge piles of TSV boxes and little elves peeling the address labels from them and sending them out to us :D
CaramelBunny
02-10-2008, 03:50 PM
I assume how it goes with prioritising of QVC deliveries is that things that they're expecting to sell a lot of are prominently placed. (I have visions of pallets of TSVs at the front of the warehouse & packers just picking up a box & whacking the label on!) I reckon that's why TSVs are quicker. Same is also true for Hot Pick items. When it really takes forever is usually when I've ordered something random that hasn't been on air. I'm guessing they're rooting around at the back of the warehouse for those!:D

Well, I think its lovely! Its the fact that it has things in it other than cards and pages. I'm having a big love affair with chipboard at the moment which is really why I went for it, and it is my favourite type of designs and colours, muted and vintagey. :)
If you look at this site, http://cosmocricket.com/, there is an ideas guide which is more comprehensive than the one that came in the kit.
