Techy advice please

Hi does anyone know if the crafters companion cd rom can be put on the lappy like permanent to save me having to put the disc in everytime I want to use it, my poor dvd tray thingy has nearly died today with all the work it's done. ta

Hi Angela, I have copied my Crafters Companion CD's on my laptop for the same reason, so save my dvd tray. It works for me.

Just copy and save to a folder.

I have all mine on an external hard-drive.

I found that if I opened the disks in PSP it tried to open every file!

Just copy all the files on the disc to a folder e.g. (crafters name) then when you want to load it click on the exe file that is in the folder. Use a different folder name for each set (CD) of files (disc that you want). Hope that make sense.
