QVC Bithday Easy Pay Voucher

I don't know how many people received this voucher, anything you ordered could be put on 3 easy payments. I read the terms and conditions on line and thought I'd only be able to order one item when using this.
So I experimented and ordered 3 items (one of which was already on 2 easy payments). Well it accepted it! so I'm one happy bunny.

someone on st.com who never got it called up and the operator added it to there account and got it on 3 easy pay

I never received it but was going to ring CS with the code if there was anything I wanted which there hasn't been.

I ordered 2 items. The email offering the code said in 1 transaction, so you should have been able to get as many as you liked in 1 order. I had 3 easy pay on both.

I just tried it & it was declined - I wonder if the system picks up from your account details that you weren't actually sent the code?

On reflection, it may be good that it didn't work - I was trying to by the Peppermint Twist kit :D

welly if it was not issued to you, you have to phone up to order it and use the 3 easy pay code

Hmmmm. I'd really like to use the code but I'm a bit of a chicken LOL When does it expire? Is it valid up to midnight tonight, or all week? I need a little more dither time. It looks like I'll have to phone & speak to an actual person :eek: to use it...I very rarely place orders by phone...Hmmmm ....*thinks some more*

The code doesn't expire until 5th October. I used mine last night online for my 2 craft day purchases :D

I was sent a card by post with information about today's Birthday celebrations - the code was on a tear-off slip attached to the card.

I bought 583713 - 24 sheets of stickers and peel-offs and 584985 - 25 spools of double sided multi-coloured ribbon.

I'm building up my supplies in my craft drawer slowly but surely :D

I just had a quick lurk through the immensely long thread on this on ST & only seemed to spot one person for who this bit of subterfuge worked - by using custom check out. This hasn't worked for me.

I also noticed that someone else tried it & was declined both online & over the phone - so I ain't doing it!

I'm debating the Peppermint Twist kit cos it's gorgeous....It may be so gorgeous that I can't ignore it for much longer LOL It would have been mine if the code worked :D

welly i suggest you ring up and see you maybe lucky to get a good person on the phone just explain you were sent it but its not working when you try it online

i rung and used it, spoke to someone on orderline and after being put on hold for ages was passed to customer services, lots more time put on hold but FINALLY they put it through for me.

I`m just the same,if they said no I wouldn`t dare ring again!Speaking of which,I`ve just had an embarrassing incident with my debit card.I tried to pay some bills online,buy some phone credit and pay QVC online.My card was declined.To cut a long story short,because there were more,and different transactions being made,they thought my identity had been stolen(come on,who`d wanna be me??)did I recognise Cutting Edge crafts and Cut at home,amongst others.I said yes I did( I was speaking to the fraud squad at this point)They then reactivated my card but the embarrassment!I would rather this than my card being used but would have preferred to know before my card was declined.They said they have sent me a letter asking me to ring them about this,still not arrived and the first declined transaction was last Friday.
Bit scary to think someone is watching how much I spend on my supplies though.

Why don't QVC send all their customers a voucher, blimey the amount of cash I've spent with them!

I think they are silly not to send them to all their customers. I'm sure that people would have been more inclined to purchase in this financial climate if they were able to spread the cost a little. It's not as if they were giving you any discount. The goods were still full priced. I must admit I did get one which is the first time I've ever received any voucher from them and I did buy more encouraged by my DH. :eek:

I think you'll prob find that a) they'll tell you sod off, that's market sensitive (or somesuch!) b) they won't reply c) they just sent them to peeps who don't spend huge wodges of dosh with them to entice them into placing an order...:D

If it was 'c' I wouldn't have got one as according to DH I spend all his wages on their website! :D I do try. ;)

You can get the full range of peppermint twist from Artymiss plus loads of other places. I got mine from Calico Crafts.

Oh yes - I know I can get Peppemint Twist elsewhere - I spent a little while totalling it up from other sites yesterday hoping to find it cheaper elsewhere :) No such luck. As usual for a QVC K&Co kit, it's a decent deal even incl p&p :( Having slept on it another night, I think I may have got the huge urge to absolutely have it out of my system. A bit. Possibly. So long as I don't go & watch the video again LOL

I really really really really don't need it. Maybe just the Speciality Pad. And some of the Grand Adhesions...and the die cuts...
