I ran out of the thread to do the back stitch but found a near enough match to do the legs and skirting board. :giggle:

Never ever run out of thread before.:whew:

Oh Pam, that's lovely!

I admire anyone who can do cross stitch. I'm afraid that my eyesight can't cope with it now!

Wow Pam Its Fabulous I did a bit of crossstitch years ago when I was ill spent a lot of time in hospital so it was a great hobby Nothing as good as yours though. My eyesight isnt good enough anymore to manage close work like that these days. I really admire anyone who has the patience and skill to produce lovely stitched pictures like this

What a sweet, girlie picture! It's lovely Pam. How long did that take you? I'm guessing that the answer is not measured in years like my cross stitching seems to be!

Hi Julie, yes I'm back lol. How's the puddy cat?

Thank you ladies. I have the eye problem too lol, have to put my specs on and use a magnifying glass sometimes too. lol

Not sure how long it took, 3BC, but I probably started it as soon as I'd finished the last one. I've been doing a lot of cross stitch while we've been in the mobile home. Not much room to do anything else.

Wonderful to see you back Pam !! :hi:

Thank you ROC and Julie.

Glad to hear she's getting better, our Poppy's a feral cat, she's never tamed. She just about lets you stroke her but hates being picked up. The longest you can hold her is less than a minute. lol We've got her and Felix from a rescue centre over 12 years ago and we've tried to tame her but she doesn't want to know. She loves Felix and he looks after her. The lady at the centre thought they were half brother and sister but Felix is so different, loves being made a fuss of and loves sitting on your lap. He purrs very loudly nearly all the time. lol

I've never really been in to cross stitch - the designs always looked old fashioned or too cutesy!! HOWEVER - you have just shown me that's not the case - and whilst I will never have the patience to do it - I am looking at in in a whole new light!! I absolutely love your work!! Cxx
