Clarity stamps have an Asian section. Not background but some Japanese script. I didn't check the sizes though.

Sugarplum, I have a lovely oriental scrip background stamp from Visible Image - clear photo polymer and unmounted - and its BIG! Unfortunately I just looked on their website and can's see it listed - however their website seems to be kind of under construction still as there are a few items listed with no photo so it might be worth giving them a phonecall or emailing them for info. I have dealt with them a few times and their clear photopolymer stamps are a very good quality and reasonabley priced.

If you need a piccy of the stamp I have let me know and I will upload a photo for you.

Can't think of any with just script, but I do have one with script and a poppy. It is from Aspects of Design Floral. Lovely stamp but might just have a bit too much going on for you.

It's kinda tricky to get a piccy of a clear stamp, so here is a piccy of a quick stamping onto copier paper - I put the ruler in to give you an idea of scale - Ruler measures in inches - Sir Tim's a yank and they don't do metric ;)

Thank you englishminx and I'm sorry Fiona but I went for it ! LOL
What's funny is that the seller stated it was slightly used.......well it was so dirty and incrusted with acrylic paint it took me 15 minutes using stazon cleaner first, then the stazon multipurpose spray and finally the EZtool cleaner (http://www.craftcritique.com/2009/11/cutterglide-and-eztool-cleaner-kit.html) (I've reviewed it on Craftcritique) and it finally came up like brand new...not that I'm going to use it much as I've been hit with major craftunbotherage recently. I can't seem to have any urge to create anything. But I guess the yearning of buying something craft remains ! ;) :D
