...never used it, about to possibly invest in some...how do you stamp on the black plastic? Or to be more accurate, what colour/type of ink will show up on it?

I've been racking my brain cell & I can't come up with anything other than white StazOn???

Not sure on that one Welly. Could you get some white shrink plastic and then colour it in black prior to shrinking?

I've only ever used white Stazon on mine. I tried gold and silver versacolour but even after leaving them overnight to dry they still smudged once shrunk.
I don't think that it would work if I used Stardust pens to colour in the stamp rather than ink but I haven't actually tried it yet. Once you've stamped your image you could go over it with a Stardust or other sakura pen as I know they will dry on shrink plastic.

Encore Gold ink worked for me with white shrink plastic. I never had black but as the ink stamps onto black card I see no reason why it shouldn't show up well enough on Black shrink - and on the white there was no problem with it not heat setting during the shrinking process.

I have never tried these but I am guessing Brilliance Inks would also work on shrink, and possibly Opalite inks too. Chalk Inks work on dark card so again they may be worth a try.

Hope this helps.

I've just realised my original reply was making an assumption that Welly wanted a solid image of something, but of course that may not be the case... :o

Thanks all :) I've ordered a sampler pack which has a couple of sheets of white, transparent, black & something else which I can't recall ATM. I didn't want to waste the black...
