I have something called 'Raising & Indenting Liquid' from Creative Stamping but although I have experimented with it (you are supposed to mix it with colour from a La Plume, Sakura etc) I stil don't see what effect I am supposed to achieve with it.
Has anyone used it? Does anyone know what the end result should be?

Actually, I have just tried to contact the company who made it - they have now discontinued it but they say it makes vellum/parchment easier to emboss. But I suppose they must mean if you have coloured the parchment?
Just wondered if it might be any good at all.

I wonder if it just makes the embossing tool glide over the parchment with out dragging, a bit like using soup or a candle when embossing on card(or as Dawns Says the grease from the side of you nose eww)or maybe it softens the parchement slightly.

It could be LittleJan but it seems a bit of a palaver when you could just use a bit of candle. I don't do parchemnt craft so I don't even know which side you are supposed to emboss because if it is the back then you would still need candle.

not sure if the lady demonstrating parchment craft on c and c has a website, if so you could try that. Just google parchment craft and see what comes up.

a candle would not be any good if you were going to colour. you normally colour the back of the parchment from what I have seen.If you were told that this liquid is to be mixed with colour I would guess its to make the colour flow, but your guess is as good as mine :D
