I made 2 more candles to sell at work, I've put a label on saying decoration only, do you think they would be worth £4 each ?
thanks

At least. You have really inspired me to have a go. (and that's such a good price because it could be a little extra or a present, you know the ones, where a lovely token is needed but you can't spend too much)

I have just found out how to use a digi stamp as well on candles, basically stick some tissue paper onto some copier paper to house the size of the image you want to use, print out and then colour, cut the image out of the tissue paper then put on the candle, can't wait to try this as I have a couple of lovely digi images I'd like to use. Also thanks for your lovely comments

The cost is about £1.50-£2 I buy the candles in asda, I use tissue that you get in shoes boxes, lovely cheap to make gifts, if I can help let me know

I did wonder how easy it was to colour on tissue. I thought I might try walnut distress ink first - ease myself in. It would be great to be able to use digi-stamps as I now have quite a collection.

Definitely worth £4 Angela. I've seen candles not nearly as nice as yours for way more - yours are really gorgeous and I love the way you've wrapped them!

Of course they're worth 4 quid Angie, you daft thing, have you seen the price of candles in shops with even a minimal 'decoration' aspect to them......? And yours are much nicer.......! And genuinely 'hand decorated'......!

You've done a great job Angie they are lovely and definitely worth £4. I would buy them without hesitation at that price and the way you've packaged them in the organza bag is a lovely finishing touch. :clapping:

Angie, these are stunning. Well worth in excess of £4.
Might I make a suggestion though. Do you have an old candle you could decorate up and then making sure you don't leave the room, burn it to see what happens to the images if you do light the candle. That way you will know if they are safe to burn. Assuming that they are in fact safe to burn, as I have never yet heard Ali Reeve saying not to burn one of them nor the lady from Banana Frog, then you would not need the notice saying they are for decoration only and you might have a wider market to appeal to.

Cheers ladies, well the girl at work has ordererd 2 of the blue ones and she wants me to make some generic ones to for stocking fillers, (not xmas ones as xmas will be over when they recieve them) she also wants quite a few of the Anna Griffin cards, Usually she'll show people her wares and then gets me more orders so fingers crossed.
I'm going to try that looby when present candle that I'm burning is done, I think if the candle is just stamped it would be fine to burn under supervision, but the ones with beads and glitter and the like would probably have to come off, watch this space.
