I've always loved the Michael Powell cross stitch kits and was really excited when I saw Ideal World had the rubber stamps. I bought the Venice Windows and they're great. I stamped and embossed, then painted with watercolours, it took a whole evening to paint one window, but looked great when finished.
Has anyone else bought them?

Are they the ones with the wonky houses etc.? I quite liked those although I may be confusing him with someone else.

If I am right, these are the ones demo'ed by Amanda Bateman - I think the stamps themselves are part of the "more clearly english stamp" range ?

I cheated colouring them in! I printed off the coloured version in the e-cards section on the above website :D

LOL, Lou*Lou*, I wouldn't exactly call that cheating. Lots of us copy the colours from the backs of stamps that have colour decals on them when we colour in. IMO it's as good a way as any to practice and learn about colouring in stamped images.
