Is anyone having problems getting on foilplay website. I cant seem to get on it ? Ta

Just tried and I can't access it either.
Tried on here (http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com) and it said the site didn't exist :eek:

I have that problem sometimes after a few tries it loads, maybe this happens when the site is being updated:confused:

I'm very sorry - the site is down atm.
It is being migrated by the hosting company and unfortunately no advance notice of the interruption in service was received.
The site should be back later this evening - my sincere apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime.

Unfortunately the site is still down, the hosts (http://members.easycgi.com/info/systemnotice.bml?id=6583) claim to be doing all they can to restore service asp.
I will post an update when it is back up and running, and my apologies again for the inconvenience.
I'd be asking the "hosts" how they're going to compensate me. :mad:

I'm so glad I checked for messages here, as I've been having problems too, just thought I'd mention I've just tried again today, and still no good:(

The news last night (http://members.easycgi.com/info/systemnotice.bml?id=6583) was that it could be another 24 - 36 hours I'm afraid.
I can assure you that there is a lot of discussion going on between myself, the webmaster and the hosting company! If they cannot get the site restored within the next couple of days, then it will be migrated elsewhere - unfortunately any course of action takes time to implement.
I'm very sorry indeed for the continuing inconvenience - I will of course post again when the site is back up.

Wins there is absolutely no need for you to apologise - this isn't any fault of your's...Sending you virtual *hugs* for all the hassle you're having :( We know you're working your bottom off trying to get it sorted... you know you haven't lost the custom of CT.com :)

It is a rather stressful time, but it will get sorted and the site will be back up as soon as we can manage, one way or another!

Oh, and I should add - unfortunately email is of course down as well as the site.

Well said Welly. Know its stressful Wins but no need to apologise we all know its not your fault. Sad though how we all seem to need a daily fix:D:D. At least you know we all keep looking at you latest additions etc. We really must be craft addicts and foilplay is our fix.LOL

What a real hassle this must be for you Wins not to mention very frustrating. Do you think you will be compensated for loss of business/sales? At least if they gave you notice you could have warned customers. Good Luck and hope you get it all sorted out to your satisfaction - I've been in that situation myself and it drove me crazy

There appears to be a glimmer of hope now in that the actual problem seems to have been (finally :rolleyes:) identified and tackled, the gory details are on my blog, for anyone interested!
As to compensation, as Dips has said on another thread, that will be a difficult issue, given the T&C for these type of services, however my webmaster is on the case.
Our number one priority is to get service restored though, either using this host or another if necessary.
Fingers crossed that it's all sorted for you soon, Wins.
