hi to everyone,

this is my first post on here so be gentle with me!

i bought a kit from ebay a couple of weeks ago, it was a dawn bibby kit that had acetate in it. the colors were very bold-yellows, greens, blues, purples, blacks & whites & the patterns were hearts, flowers & butterflies.

anyway, it came with some oddly shaped cards that i have no clue what to do with- i have been bending them this way and that, and still cant work out how they are supposed to be used.

it is no longer for sale on qvc, so i emailed topaz crafts who said they couldnt help without the item number (very abrupt email telling me that) so i emailed the seller and got the item number which i emailed to topaz- they didnt even bother to reply to me

what i am basically asking is does anyone have this kit and if so could they please explain to me what im supposed to do with these shaped cards?

thank you :)

Hi connorsmummy

I've got that kit from the outlet shop. A lady in the shop showed me how to fold those cards but, must admit I've never used it! If I recall, if the cards have circles shapes on them, you fold the cards so that they are in a zigzag shape with the circles facing forwards so that you may decorate the circles with embellishments.
Now if there are no cards shaped that way in the kit I've remembered the wrong thing. Let me know and I'll find my kit and look at the cards again.

Hope that helps.

Hi and welcome to the forum!
I got that same kit off ebay but have to confess that I haven't used it yet :o I remember playing with those cards for ages until I worked out how to fold them but I've forgotten again now
I'll have a look in the kit tomorrow (if I can locate it!) and let you know if I work out what to do with them.

so much for service from Dawn Bibby's outlet. Not the way to get customers. I have never bought things from her. My favourite sites are our foil one and Joanna Sheen. She has most everything. Fast delivery and no postage and packing. Good luck with those cards, afraid I haven't a clue.

I bought that kit when it was a TSV, still got it as I don't like the bright colours very much and the cards they were unusual, didn't seem to look very good for me whatever I stuck on them!!!
If you have any ideas post them on here to give me some inspiration.
