I have just unsubscribed from their email "newsletter" as it's hardly news when you receive the same email three days in a row. It comes across to me as a really hard sell and I got fed up with their "offers" of boxes of random miscellaneous craft stuff. So I'll have a touch less stress in my life every day! :D

Oh, I've ordered from them on a couple of occasions Welly and received good service, it's just that the emails are sooooo repetitive and as often as not flogging stuff that I'm just not interested in.

Out of curiostiy Anne, did it work? The unsubscribing I mean. I am pretty sure I have heard folks complain that even tho they unsubscribed they keep getting the mails and end up having to complain and make a fuss to get their details removed from the mailing list.

Well, I haven't had any emails from them today. Yet. :)

I ordered from them for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it came within the week even though they must have been really busy as the Trimcraft promotion was really good (got DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies 12x12, 8x8 and mat stacks plus 2 packs of chipboard and 4 packs of embellishments for £34.99). Plus a few other bits of course :o
However, I gave them an old email address so if they fill it with junk mail (I asked not to be added to the list but have heard they are enthusiastic with their emails) it won't bother me.

Has anyone hads one of their scrap book goody boxes (the one with about £150 stuff in for £30)? It sounds good but I'm worried it's just going to be a load of rubbish.

I have to admit I do like this website for ordering from, always had good service and lovely items.

It took no end of emails from me to finally stop them from mailing me. I only ever ordered once from them, it was only a heat gun (was suppose to be in stock), I never received it! they stopped communicating with me via email after only replying to about
3 of um, ended up phoning up my CC & they sorted it out for me. Would never use again.
Funny thing about it all was the emailing didn't start until a few months after all that had gone on & I been to my CC & got me money back....as if I'd use them again after all that! (heat gun never did show)

I really like their goods and their service. Having said that. the last time I ordered, it took almost 2 weeks, whereas before it used to take 2/3 days. They need to get their act together.

I used to use Artymiss alot. I then had an awful experience when stuff didn't arrive and Artymiss were so useless about it. I emailed to inform them the stuff hadn't got here-2 orders in fact. they sent me a form to fill in to confirm lost and return. This was by email. i did and nothing. i chased again-they never answer phone and don't talk to each other either so if you speak to one person and they say they'll sort it out and don't, no one else knows who you are. The email i sent in reply went to their junk email folder, even though just replied as they said to. They were supposed to phone me and didn't, promised it would be here next day-it wasn't and all the time slagging off Royal Mail to an incredible extent. Apparenly lots of parcels go missing each week, the van Royal mail send is too small and so all deliveries won't fit on. It's unbelievable. I had somehow got them on both my email addresses-muct have emailed them out of another without realising. It tookme MONTHS to get the emails stopped to one address-the other after requesting no emails countless times, getting more and more cross-I still get at least one email A DAY. All rubbish, I have never had this many emails from anyone. They are appauling-I thought I was the only one but wanted to complain to cardmaking magazines who carry their advertising to tell them of this problem. I also wanted to tell them that Artymiss state free P+P in their adverts and it hasn't been for ages unless a certain amount. Unless for all orders you should state 'free P+P on orders over £20' or whatever.
I honestly loved Artymiss, raved about them to my friends (now bombarded by emails which is so embarassing) but now they are so commercial and hard sell-they have cheapened themselves and in my view lost a very good reputation that they used to have. I used to order virtually everything from Artymiss-I will NEVER order anything from them again-not least as the whole email thing is disgraceful. Please be warned if you haven't been with this company yet-don't unless you are prepared for delays, rude staff and emails even when you 'unsubscribe'.

Sorry to hear of your awful experience  It took me a while to order from them as I had heard some terrible things about them on forums. I waited until the problems had appeared to have lessened considerably (delivery problems sorted and more staff employed) and then went for it as the DCWV bundle was too good to resist :o
They now send EVERYTHING by courier hence free delivery now being for orders over £60.
My experience was great as I got some fantastic bargains and they noted my request for 'no emails please'!
Having worked in craft mail order myself I have to say that some staff are considerably less helpful/conscientous than others so maybe they had 'staff issues' that have now been sorted. I will definitely be ordering from them again - when money permits
