Today I ventured in to TK Max again to see if the scrapbook sets had reduced again, and yippeee they had, I got a box set with a 12" scrapbook and papers etc for £3 and a basket type thing with an 8" scrapbook and embellies and papers for £3, they had quite a lot for £3. They also had some american crafts owl cardmaking kits, but they were new and not reduced.

Aww that'a shame KWC, mind you ours doesn't usually stock so much craft stuff so it's possible that all stores are selling some, hope if you go your in luck x

I might have a little trip to the smelly shop Angie, just to see.......not hopeful though, everybody else's TK Maxx always seems to be full of Birkenstocks, KvZ bags (not that I'd be seen dead carrying one of those! lol), l'Occitane & gawd knows what else.....ours is just pants for 'designer' & branded stuff & I have never seen any craft stuff in there.......but you never know & I won't know if I don't go & have a look....! lol

Thanks Angie for the heads up - I checked out the TK Maxx in Rugby and they had the scrapbooking sets there too, mostly for a fiver, but some for £3 too. Some of the designs were much nicer than others, but there was plenty of choice.

I got four sets altogether for £18, a mix of American Crafts and ATD, all 12 x 12 albums with various papers, stickers & embellishments - a real bargain

well done wins, some great bargains there, I went again today as it's my friends birthday soon and she just wants money so I thought I'd get her a small gift as well, she has an 8 month grandson so I bought a boys kit for £3, and tum ti tum ti, I bought 2 more american craft sets for £6!, I couldn't resist the papers are lush and excellent quality, I was actually surprised how little they had left as there were loads yesterday.

Fab, you sound like me. I've been known to describe TK Max as looking like a jumble sale - in fact it put me off shopping there for a long time.

Yep, that's what ours is like, an absolute hovel....full of tat.....! (I think they modelled it on the QVC clearance outlets......! lol)

I love TKMaxx, it's one of my favourite shops. It's not the sort of shop you can just pop into though, you have to have a good rummage. lol I went in last week and got some reduced WRMK papers. They're really pretty. I didn't bother with any of the scrapbook kits, as I already have several sat in a cupboard that I haven't done anything with. I also got a gorgeous new mirror for the living room. It's huge, lovely quality and only cost me £40. I just need a visitor that's handy at DIY to out it up for me. It weighs a tonne and needs drilling/screws etc to secure it.

There are some good quality bits in our local one, you just have to hunt for them! Iim sure if the store was a bit more organised more people would shop there.
