Would not have noticed if someone hadn't pointed it out. Provided we can find what is where, surely thats all that matters.

It doesn't bother me either way. When I come into the forum, I usually just click on 'new posts' and then read everything

Very quiet, but i think it will take more than a few different titles to get things moving again

God how thick am I?!! I've just seen 'New Posts' - Doh.......:D:D
Is it just me or does this name change buy into the rather creepy personality cult that has grown up around the Bibby brand?
I can think of no other TV salesperson who trades so heavily on her family, pets etc etc etc.
I would rather have proper demos and phone calls that asked proper crafting questions than people phoning up to thank Ms Bibby for this, that or the other.
We - as crafters - deserve to see decent products demonstrated fully.
And changing the name of these sections just goes towards reinforcing that.

A word of warning about "new posts" - if you click the "remember me" box when you log into the forum but you say idle long enough what actually happens is you are logged out and when you return the forum "remembers" you and logs you back in again without you having to do anyting.
Now this is fine except "new posts" ONLY lists posts that have been made during the time you were logged out plus any new ones added during the current session. So it means that any posts made during the "idle" time before your previous session ended with an automatic log-out (you will be unaware that you were logged out) will not show in the New Post listing. Try clicking "today's posts" and see if there are post there that are not showing in your "new posts" list. I tend to use "today's posts" more than "new posts" as it's a more reliable tool for short absences from the forum - by short I mean under 24 hours.
Where do you find today's posts, Phree, can't see it for looking!

HIt the Drop Down arrow next to Quick Links and you get a little drop down menu - Todays Posts is first in the list.

Yikes SJT ;) :D I see you're not much of a fan of 'the Bibster' then!
I think I know what you're getting at, but I don't think Graham's pandering to any personality cults - he's changed the IW/C&C section title too, & after the MCS debacle (alledgedly - I ain't having any threatening letters from IW!) he hasn't been much of a fan of Steph...Unless he's now settled his differences...
I have had my run-ins with both the Bibby brand and the IW clan - but I do find myself getting angrier and angrier when we hear more about dogs, husbands etc etc etc than we do about the products.
I wish both channels would broaden their range of 'experts' and bring us a greater range of products and techniques. I get easily frustrated!

It seems like the title has been changed by someone who doesn't craft. I kinda see what you mean though, it doesn't seem fair to place other craft guests as underdogs to DB when she's a guest presenter herself.
I take Dawn Bibby & co as DB and the people she works with at her shop. If I was new to this forum, I wouldn't even look under this section at all because the only shows I'm interested in watching on QVC are the RM hours and the American guest hours and would just assume it's threads relating to DB, those who work in her shop too and Kanban.

SJT - I know what you're saying about the way craft shows are on QVC, but I don't think that can be blamed on Dawn Bibby. QVC are, after all, a retail outlet and are there to make as much money as possible. DB also has no control over the people who call in during the show.
Scissorhands - The section headings have probably been changed by Graham, the forum owner. I do agree with you though - there is more to craft on QVC than Dawn Bibby, just as there is more to craft on Ideal World/C&C than Stephanie Weightman.

I would rather it was craft on qvc /craft on ideal world as I don't like the inference that there is only DB or SW There are lots of other presenters/guests on both channels Please graham can we change it back?
