One or 2 people who are in the Creepy Creation Swap mentioned needing a little help with Photobucket - so here it is
Photobucket Instructions for Craft Telly - if you already know how to use photobucktet but are just not sure how to get your photos from there onto the forum you can skip right down to STEP 3.
STEP 1
Create an account in Photobucket by going here :
http://photobucket.com/ (add this site to your favourites as you will want to go there any time you want to post a picture on the forum.
Click on the large green “Join Now” button and follow the instructions.
Make sure when you create a login name and password that you create ones which you can remember.
There are other photo hosting sites such as Image Shack, but as I use photobucket this is the one I know how to use and can therefore write instructions for.
STEP 2
Uploading Photos to your new Photobucket Account.
Firstly you have to have your picture saved on your computer. Most graphics and digital camera download/editing programmes save pictures to your “My Pictures” folder as the default location if you are using Windows on your computer. You may want to create a folder somewhere on your computer where you can keep photos of the cards you make for or receive from forum members. Remember to give this folder a name you can remember easily and which helps you remember what stuff you keep in it. I made a folder on my computer called “Craft Telly Stuff”.
Now if you have just created your Photobucket account you should already be logged into Photobucket, if not choose the log in option at the top right of the screen and sign in with the user name and password you created when you made your Photobucket account.
Near the top of your screen you should see a box that says Upload Images and Video and right underneath that title there is a blue button that says Choose Files – click on that.
A dialogue window will open with the name Select file(s) to upload in the blue title bar at the top. Right under that is a box with the name Look In: beside it. If you drop down the arrow at the right side of the box you can change which folder on your computer you will be going to to find your photo, so for example I would go to my “Craft Telly Stuff” folder.
Once you have selected the correct folder name the files you have in that folder should be listed in big white box right under the Look In box. Double click on the file that you want to upload to photobucket OR click once on the file name and then choose the “open” button at the bottom right of this dialogue window.
The dialogue window will close and you will be returned to your Photobucket screen where you wait while your photo is uploaded. Once it’s compete you will see your photo appear on the photobucket page as a small thumbnail size image with various links above it which include edit, move, tag, share and delete. Under it you will see a list of other things such Email & IM. It is this list at the bottom you are interested in, specifically the item called IMG Code (see screenshot image below, I have added a large blue arrow to show you where the IMG Code is).

STEP 3
Getting your Pictures from Photobucket onto the ForumYou remember the blue arrow ? The one that points to the label “IMG Code” – well next to the label is a box with what appears to be computer gobbledy gook in it, it’s actually the HTML code you need to make your image appear in the forum. To get that code into a forum post simply hold your mouse over the code and click the left mouse button once. A small yellow box will briefly appear on your screen which contains the word “copied”. This tells you that your computer has successfully copied the code.
Now you are ready to paste that code into your forum post. To do this simply create your post in the normal way – typing your message then when you are ready to include the picture right click your mouse and a pop up menu will open and you can choose the “paste” command from that. The code you copied from your Photobucket page will now appear in your post. BE CAREFUL you don’t edit that by mistake if you continue typing more text in your post.
I find it’s usually best to sign into Photobucket first, and upload my photo, then open Craft Telly in another window and type my post but don’t submit it yet . Then I switch back to the Photobucket window, copy the IMG Code and then switch back to Craft Telly to insert the paste of the IMG code as the last thing I do before I hit the submit button on my post.
