I haven't used any of my CDs for some time so thought I'd check them out. All of them are OK except the Artylicious ones. I have 4 and they all come up with the same message. I'm wondering if I've got to agree to it but don't know how!

I know they used to work but I can't remember if it was on this computer or the one I had before. I don't know it that would make any difference.

Any help gratefully received.

Thanks.

Well that's strange, that's not what I copied and posted. If that was the message I'd got I would have been OK.:headbang:

Still don't know what to do lol.

Have you tried it again Pam? and if so is it ok now?

Hi Joan, thanks for the reply. I've tried loads of times with all the discs and the same message comes up for all of them. It says more or less the same as my last post but in computer gobbledegook (extra bits and pieces everywhere) and there's not an 'I accept ' button to press although the words are there you just can't press it.

I tried copying it to word but that didn't work either lol. I'm useless with computer stuff so don't know what to try next. lol

Pam, I am so not a technical bod, but if I remember correctly these CDs display in Adobe Reader. Have you tried downlaoding the latest verision?

BTW, lovely to see you back with us again Pam, you've been missed.

Pam - I'm not very technically minded but if you are seeing a load of computer speak, it may be that the file page is corrupted or more likely, is temporarily incompatible with the programme you are trying to open it with?

I had a quick look online & found:

http://artylicioustech.blogspot.com/

Don't know if there's anything there that might be of use but part of it does deal with an apparent Adobe issue?

Hi Andrea thanks for the reply. I've tried loading a later version of adobe reader (not sure if it's the latest though) anf they still say the same.

Thank you, I'm finding the forum rather depressing at the moment so don't bother to come here that much but thanks for the comments. Take care.

Thank you for the link kitten, I had looked at it before and that's why I downloaded the later version of Adobe reader but as I said to Dips it hasn't made any difference. I was wondering whether to ask a question there but it doesn't seem to be used much now. lol

If you are still having problems, Pam, why not pop a PM to Phree? She is probably still in touch with Glenda, and may be able to give you a way to get in touch with her.

Here's Glenda's new blog: http://glendawaterworth.com/

Most people have a link on their blogs so you can email them, I've had a quick look but can't see one. Perhaps you could leave a comment asking her to contact you?

Thank you PP, I've sent an email on the one kitten gave me. I'll let you know if I hear anything.

Artylicious is defunct/closed down now Pam. Glenda's new business is called Chocolate Baroque but isn't quite up and running yet.

This where you download the latest www.adobe.com/reader !

Have you just tried to hit the RETURN key on your keyboard also called enter key. That could just do the trick.

Pam, looking at what you posted first off, there isn't an accept button as such but you click on the word "accept". Can't help with the rest of the computer goobledegook though, sorry.

Thanks craftycat, unfortunately the post has changed since the forum changed, it was originally a button. lol In the message I get (It altered when I copied and pasted here) you can't click on the word accept.

Frustrating.
There are times when I hate CDs. I was using a Peerless one of mine after watching part of the show last night (sorry don't like the pandas) and couldn't make the CD work in the way it was supposed to. Fine I found all the images I wanted, printed image is good, but I had something totally different had to open. Didn't have the option the CD said I would have to get it going.
And if all that sounds like a load of twaddle, sorry! having a twaddly day and it's only just gone 7am. Off to get my hearing aids fitted today. Oh what fun - NOT!
