My darling husband bought me a set of these for our wedding anniversary. I didn't know I had to buy a multi-purpose platform for the big shot until today.

Aww, that was lovely of him!
I got a starter kit for the bs with the platform and some texture plates for £15 as I wanted to buy some of the gorgeous Cuttlebug embossing plates.
Enjoy using your nestabilities when you can!

I have the old BS with the old platform and they work fine on that for me!

I have a cuttlebug and a revolution, would the nestabilities dies work in these? I have asked for them for my birthday, but will wait to get them from the US.

The nesties work great in the Cuttlebug Gill, you will need the tan embossing mat though if you want to emboss with them.
I've got the combinations of the plates for cutting and embossing if you need it.

Thanks Shepherdess,
I have the tan mat from Oyster stamps...is that the one? If I may ask you for the combination, thank you.
Can't wait for the dies now but will wait til the import tax increases, don't want to get stung again!

It didn't work for me. The platform wasn't thick enough. Did you use something extra?

My darling husband bought me a set of these for our wedding anniversary. I didn't know I had to buy a multi-purpose platform for the big shot until today.

I use the white platform, 2 pcs mountboard and the clear plates and they cut and emboss fine, so I'm not going to bother with the multi-purpose.

Glad it works for you now and you've saved some pennies. You could probably buy another set of nesties with the money you've saved from buying a MPP!! ;)

Sorry Gill, I've only just seen your post.
The sandwiches for nesties in the cuttlebug are:-
Cutting:- Plate A--Plate C--Die--Cardstock--Plate B.
Embossing:- Plate A--Blate B--Die--Cardstock--2 or 3 card shims--Tan Mat--Plate B.
