When the gallery was initially put here, it was purely for people to post piccies of their cards and nothing else - just pictures. It was because it was difficult to find pictures of cards because of chat within threads. Graham actually set it up so that only the thread starter was able to post on their threads.

I actually preferred it that way - it was much easier to see people's pics instead of scrolling through stacks of chat. I've joined in on the Gallery threads cos it seemed a bit silly to start another thread when chat had already started...


I think we should be able to show our appreciation - wow great card Pam!:)

You can ROC - we got used to setting up a separate thread in the chat section or whatever before. Plus we had the Thanks button

Personally i would prefer that the Gallery was kept purely for Piccys, its so much easier to see people's work that way,

perhaps Graham could add another sub section entitled Gallery Chat because i do also think its nice to be able to praise and ask how did you do that? type questions about peole work :)

I think the original idea was to have one thread per member for the people who wanted to post pics. Don't think it ended up like that though, we seemed to have separate threads for each batch of cards.

I think the idea was that members would just re post in the same thread when they had other pictures to show, if there is chat on that thread then that would mean scrolling through the chat threads looking to see if there were other pictures, which was why we thought the gallery would just be for pictures in the first place

We seem to have three places to post our card pics:confused:
There's here , then there's 'Here's one I made earlier' in the paper craft section. Then there is the gallery which has nothing in it at the moment.
Shouldn't we be posting our pics in the actual gallery ?
We could then maybe have a place to make comments:)

lol i thought we were in the Gallery, but then i noticed a seperate section up the top as it were, along with news, craft events, ect, i dont think they are for us mere mortals to post in as most of them come up with Sorry, your account does not have access to this section, when i click on them

I think there used to be 3 or 4 cards in the Gallery before the change. But I have always been confused as to where pics should be posted:confused:
