The penny has finally dropped - only took a couple of months :headbang: I should have realised when people were posting that Steph was flogging on the new Woolies site. Being as though the Woolies online brand was bought by Littlewoods, my catalogue now has a huuuge selection of craft supplies which I've just been browsing.
As expected, most of it is MCS/C&C/the stuff that's flogged through crafting.co.uk &/or on C&C (GGs, CC & JS, promarkers...) and of course of it is over-priced (quite scarily in some instances, nearly had a heart attack at one point LOL If you have a nervous disposition, don't look at their price for a promarker 5pack :mysmilie_466:) - cos that's what Littlewoods do 'free delivery/returns & 0% interest' = we just whack it in the cost of the item.
BUT! (And this is why I was posting), some of the C&C branded stuff is basically the equivalent of C&C price (not club) + £2.99 p&p. For eg, I found the gold & silver mirriboard pack for £13. It's worth having a little trawl round if you have a Littlewoods account (like me) - cos of course you have the option to spread the payments over a few months, so it's a bit like sticking it on flexi pay. And from time to time they send me offers for discounts plus I get cashback as well. By the time I've used this sort of thing, it's quite helpful & more likely to actually be delivered to boot! (Although all the craft stuff states its delivered within 4days rather than their usual 48hrs)

Blimey Wellington, you have just given me a nudge as well. My daughter Beth runs Littlewoods, shes building up credit history for future buys like car house........ yeah right not while shes got myself & OH. I was looking through the catalogue last weekish, and saw the crafts, and yes they are pricey, but I didnt realise Littlewoods have bought Woolworths. Not had a good look into the catalogue, so maybe have a peek later thank you for the heads up I never gave it a thought. Joan

I have a Littlewoods account too but I shop online rather than keep a heavyweight catalogue in the house. I might have a wee peek later on as I have some rewards money to spend :o

Just to let you know that Littlewoods also owns Isme and Very, those two catalogues charge postage but the prices tend to be 10-15% less than Littlewoods own offering. But beware at the rate of interest as it's 34.5% if you take your time to repay over a year you're better off with Littlewoods. However you can repay interest free on Very in three monthly payments. :)

I spoke too soon :headbang: My crafty order was delivered this morning (rather surprisingly by postie). Nice & quick I grant you, but totally the wrong item. I ordered a pack of shaker tape & recieved one of the GG's card packs :dull: Nice as the card is, it's not what I want or need right now, so back it goes *sigh*

I buy clothes and some household bits from Isme and Very, online shop and who I use depends what I am looking for. I wondered whether they were actually part of the same group but haven't got catalogues to compare. I always plan to pay my bill off in full to avoid interest. Sometimes they (and La Redoute) do a "buy now pay later" offer without added interest and this is worth considering if you can plan to save up the full payment bit by bit. Even if you just save in a piggy bank

I did get a couple of punches from 'Woolies' and they weren't too long arriving. I have not had good experiences with MCS so far so hesitate to order anything of theirs wherever it is from. My first order was out of stock but it took several emails and irate phone calls to find that out and a few days ago emailled them a question but not heard anything from them yet.

I recently ordered a couple of items of clothing from Fearne Cotton's range at Very. Tshirt swamped me but they offer free returns and dealt with the refund v. efficiently, good communication etc. Hope they sort out your exchange equally efficiently Welly! xx

I've been keeping an eye on the products being put on the Littlewoods crafty bit (mostly to see if anything gets reduced, they do good clothing sales after all LOL)...Anyhoo, I've just had to place an order for Centura Pearl white A4 card - the usual pack size of 50 - for £10.40. I'm impressed - yes I know it's more than on C&C etc, but actually only 41p more IIRC for a non-club member like meself (still £9.99 right?)...
And I also fell for 2 tubes of Pinflair gel with syringes & keys for £7.75!!! Now I'm sure that's a bargain! I think they boobed & it should have been their price for 1 tube, but the description states 2 & also a bit further down the page there's a message from their buyers stating that due to a warehouse issue some customers had indeed only recieved 1, but this has been rectified & 2 are now being sent out.

Ordered my pinflair and had a look around everything else. Dithered over the centura pearl card but I usually buy it in A3 sheets. love it for my A4 cards and they dont have that option. I did notice though that if you want 60 sheets in the four colour ways the price is £20.80 yet individual colours are £10.40 for 50 sheets - now that is a bit cheeky lol.
