When did the dates on the posts change to MM/DD/YY instead of DD/MM//YY? Very confusing!

I noticed it for the first time this afternoon, von. It's a pretty minor thing really, but I'd like to see it back to the British way of showing dates.

Hi Julie

If you look where it says last post it either says today, yesterday or gives you a date if it's older. Right hand side of the board.

Thanks Pam, I only ever click New Posts so never see those pages, can't say I have ever seen the front of the forum either ! :o

Is it a general thing or can we individually alter the display? If it is a general thing, personally I'd prefer the UK style display.

My guess is Graham forgot to select the DD/MM/YY format when he recreated the forum and has now noticed this thread and fixed it. Thanks Graham

Hhhmm, well, I must admit I would say that Bonfire night was on November 5th not 5th November...Always have said
it that way round. Maybe it's the part of the country we come from?

"Remember, remember the 5th November" etc was the rhyme I was taught when I was small, and I have trouble when it's the other way round. We have an American chap at work and I got into a right old state when he asked for a letter dated the 4/ 8/09 or something and I went looking through August for an hour when he meant April.

I am glad that everything is back to normal - I'm brand new, so I would hate for anybody
to blame the token american in the bunch....besides....I LIKE the British way of doing things!
