Beautiful birthday cards received by Spendsloads

Apologies for taking a few days to do this, but please find below, at long last, the gorgeous cards that I received for my recent birthday. A very big thank you to everyone who helped make my birthday so much more special with these cards.

Firstly, here is an exquisitely cut out and coloured card from Anne - very professionally done as you can see.

Next, a sophisticated art-deco lady from Artysam - lovely reminder of my recent holiday where we saw an art-deco exhibition at the Royal Ontario Museum.

a medallion card from Cardy, complete with glittered heart detail and painstakingly applied peel off corners.

Next, a flamingo card from Dips who has achieved a double whammy with both the picture and the glorious colour of the card (which hasn't really come out well in the photo)

Here is a beautifully coloured Sarah Kay girl from Icebubble which has been matted on three papers, including a fab textured one.

Little Jan has crafted a fairy with glittered wings on an unusual card (just how did you get the edges to meet so well LJ?) covered with printed vellum.

Lorraine, your stunning card arrived early enough for me to take it away on holiday with me, so it is now very well travelled having been on a 8200 mile journey (200 from Leeds to my house and 4000 each way to Toronto!)

Macey has stamped, embossed, cut out and coloured two pretty butterflies for the next card with a very effective pearlised finish.

Here is a colourful floral card from Marzipan. I love the 'shaker' embellishment she has attached to this card - a very unusual decoration, which I have never seen.

Phree has created an amazing 3d teabag folded card (which survived Royal Mail in perfect condition). The irridescent peacock tails are stunning.

Pam has daisy theme with her card to great effect - a subject matter that I use lots too.

Last couple:

This delicately coloured kitty with tulips card from Rainbowwand is my OH's firm favourite, as he is quite possibly the world's greatest cat lover (and I quite like them too)

And last but not least, here is a pretty poppy decoupage card from Turquoise - a very appropriate choice of flower for this time of year.

Oh and in answer to your question, about the matching of the edges of the card, I'll let you onto a secret, they didn't meet perfectly :oso I had to trim them down hence the border:rolleyes:

Can only echo what has already been said, wonderful cards and i am always amazed at the variety,

In answer to your question ROC i used Dewent Coloursoft pencils with Sansodor and stumps to blend, still need to practice though :D
