Help WithPolka Doodles Paper Boutique CD

Making a card for my daughter who has just passed her driving test and using the A4 cut and create components for the car on the cd. I'm only using the 3 front parts of the car to place on a card blank and decoupage up. I want to put some text on the reg plate so imported all 3 pages in to MCS to add her name etc. When I went to use the images in MCS they were too big for the A4 grid. Not sure why as I thought A4 car would have fitted on to A4 page in MCS. Anyway how do I get all 3 to size in MCS so the decoupage will line up? Hope I'm making this clear!! I've tried grouping and shrinking but that's not working and cropping each page to see if that will fit the grid, all to no avail. Wondered if anyone has had this problem when using the images outside of adobe. If I just click and print from the cd it's fine but then there's no name etc.. Any help greatly appreciated the whole world have sent her a card except Mum so far!!! Thanks for your time.

Think I've sussed it now, didn't realise you could edit the dimensions of the image at the bottom of the screen on MCS!! Learn something new every day!! Anyhow it worked and job nearly done.

I thought you could type onto the pages from the CD anyway and didn't need to export them, was about to check but you're all sorted. Nikky's CD's have to be the best on the market!

Some of the images are editable but not all so had to use another programme to add my daughter's name etc. The tags on the cd are all text editable in Adobe but still limited to colour tho. I wonder why the images came through so big when I opened them in MCS?

Hi, could I ask - how did you import them into MCS - this is something I haven't managed to suss yet with all my Polka doodles cds......:cheeky:

Hi yes click on the image then use the snapshot tool ( mine is under 'edit') at the top of the screen. Then highlight the image you want to move. It will then say that it has been copied. I then go to 'paint' and paste it there, then click on save as and put my image in to my pictures folder from which I can access through MCS. Not sure if this is the process you're supposed to do but it works for me. Hope that helps. Polka Doodles returned my call today but my daughter explained that I'll have to call back as I've lost my voice much to everyones delight!! The problem I had was that when I moved the car template the surrounding area around it was too big to fit on the A4 grid in MCS to print out properly, and I was being a bit dense as to how to resize all the sheets to the same size! Got there in the end tho.
