A Christmas/Winter ATC special?

I was just wondering if enough people were interested whether we could do an ATC special of Christmas/Winter themed ATCs. I thought these could be made from bits and pieces left over from making Christmas cards. If people think it will be too much work as we are coming up to Christmas, fair enough.

If it were to go ahead, it would be run along the usual lines, the only difference being that I'd do the swap after the 17th December once the excitement has died down with the Secret Santa swap.

I'm having problems with that link, or is it just me?
I wondered if rather than do something else before Christmas, it could be a New Year/Winter theme so give people something to do after Christmas instead. I might even feel brave enough to join in if I have a bit more time to practice!

No it isn't just you, the link no longer works.

So what you need to do is view the sticky at the top of the ATC section "What do I need for ATCs".

It would be lovely if you could join us on this Marie, its amazing the kind of effects that can be made, very often from offcuts.

I think rather than saying, I could do with having them in by such and such a date before Christmas, it would be better to say, lets put more of an emphasis on New Year/Winter but if you have already made Christmas ATCs that will be fine too.

If, you are still wondering whether or not to join, there is still time to take the plunge.

Not a silly question at all. You can make them all the same if you want to, but as there are going to be so few of us in the swap, it might be better if they are different. May make my job a bit easier if the swap works out that someone has to have two swaps made by the same person; a bit of a problem if we have to play snap. :)

Don't worry about it, I haven't made mine yet.

Up to now we have decorated on one side only and on the reverse, put name, date, title (see stickied thread).

Will await the ATC envelope coming through my letterbox, though realistically I think I will save swapping until the Christmas madness has ebbed a bit.

Hi everyone

I think this is the year I can explore the world of ATCs. I have read Leonie Pujol's book again and found it really inspiring. Isn't it funny how you can have a book for a wile before it clicks with you?

I'll have a bit of a play and make some for myself before adding my name to the list.
