Just for fun and putting mself firmly in the pro peel-off camp here is a my version of the Royal wedding dress using peel-offs. They are mounted on white glitter card for the dress and white tissue paper for the veil. The bodice and sleeves are tissue paper and white Sakura gel pen for the lace effect. The bouquet is a digital image and flowersoft, face and arms my own drawing.

That is so clever Janet & so detailed......& so fiddly, must have taken ages! Makes you realise just what you can create using humble peel-offs etc. if you put your mind to it! LOL :star:

Now that would make anyone want to use peel-offs! It is, as Kitten said, so clever; it's real, real crafting.

that's amazing, maybe we should do a peel-off card swap on here so we are forced to use them up!

I think we'd need a peel off swap every month for about a century to use them up LOL...

But seriously (& sorry to hijack the thread a teeny bit jr77), I'd be happy to organise a one off "Use up your peel offs" swap if enough people were up for it...?

That sounds like a very good idea. I'm sure I've got some I'll never use.

By the way from the comments I've been getting I think my photo may be making my bride look more than she really is. It's just a little 2D paper figure -very simple to do. I just chopped up some peeloff dresses to make an approximation of the Royal Wedding dress for my own amusement. Then I saw the debate on here re-peeloffs and I thought people might also find it amusing for different reasons.

Its funny because when I've tried to photograph my cards they look much worse than in real life.
Thank you anyway

From one Janet to another, that's really pretty! Well done.
I am too embarrassed to say just how many peel offs I have. And I still buy more at times lol

I now what you mean about photos of cards. I take so many with two cameras until I get what I am more or less happy with. My new all singing and dancing brifge camera, only really takes good pics of my cards in daylight most of the time. Much to my disappointment. My old compact seems to take truer colours too. And that takes the best ones with a flash rather than daylight lol. Oh I am just too picky
