Maybe that is one of the reasons I hardly ever buy from any of the craft channels these days, well that and being able to find my 'stuff' cheaper elsewhere. I bought from Hochanda three times, but after the last debacle when they gave me a 10 credit that didn't show up in my account regardless of how much I tried to spend, I gave up.

Bought once from TCC, that was the sweater die because it was something totally different. Haven't bought from C & C for ages, apart from the freebies, and the 5 kit a couple of nights ago. I will probably rejoin the C & C club, mainly because it really only cost a tenner, I am sure I can find something to use the other 10 on. Many of the freebies have been worth the 2.99, I can only think of two that weren't up to snuff last year, a Kanban thing and something or other from Dreamies.

I couldn't agree more about Dawn Bibby. I used to like Rebecca Tyrell (?) on TCC although, to be fair, after a few shows her makes all seemed to be the same, swiping distress inks on a card then stamping over it and cutting some bits out. I really liked Lesley Wharton but I gather Chocolate Baroque is one of the companies shafted by TCC so we won't be seeing her again. When I've tried to watch Dawn Bibby it's exactly as you say, like being in a timewarp back to the early QVC days. So old fashioned and no fun to watch.

What's with the jam jars on The Craft Channel? Is this craft related? Just asking!

I agree about Dawn Bibby's style being somewhat old-fashioned. I don't really watch The Craft Channel but one really good thing about her in her QVC days was that she would always tell you exactly what was included in the kits. She would always check how many sheets of card or how many card blanks etc.

Jam jars? Did I miss something? Maybe it was those battery operated lights that were so beloved by TCC before C********. I gather they have been showing repeat shows that were on before C********.

No, you haven't missed anything. They are drinking from Chai Buddy Tea Infusers - they just look like jam jars but I can't see what the connection is with crafting. Bit expensive for a glass jar. I can't be doing with fruit and herbal teas - I always think they taste like watered down Baby Bio.

Ah yes, I remember them flogging those before C********. I like some herbal and fruit teas, especially chamomile, but they work just as well doing them directly into the cup/mug. I use a teapot with an infuser for my green teas, also flavoured, but that is because I prefer the proper leaves, rather than teabags.

I've tried many of the fruit teas in the past and always find that although the smell wonderful they look and taste like flipping birdseed so I don't bother anymore. I do like just plain boiling water with a splash of cold ibn it and this morning I went mad and actually put a lemon wedge in!
Two and two make four...........but now and then they add up to three and occasionally, just occasionally its five !

No calming drinks for me. I am a 2 Yorkshire Tea bags or 3 heaped teaspoons of Millicano type of gal.
