Wow, thereís a blast from the past. I had a cd once but I didnít get on with it, found out quite quickly that I donít like printing out cards and toppers. I like the lady that shows it though.

I love MCS and have loads of their CDs. I like designing on the screen before printing - I also use Craft Artist a lot. I'm on a Design Team for a blog challenge were you have to use something from a craft CD in your project - The CD Sunday Challenge (a blog and we also have a Facebook page now).
CDs are also really useful for finding backing papers to use with other techniques - stamping, iris folding, die cutting.

Now Craft Artist isn't being supported by Serif anymore I have brushed up on MCS again - I have a lot of their cds, so it seems daft not to. I just discovered how to import them into serif too, so bonus!

I print off and manipulate the pages and elements to use with all my other crafting equipment/techniques - I never ever just "print off a card". As PP says, it is excellent for backgrounds.

Serif is still supporting Craft Artist - it's just Daisy Trail that has closed. You can still contact Serif for help with CA.

I loved the designing part to be fair, just not the printing out although I can see the attraction of having a wide choice of backing paper.

I've always been a great fan of Paint Shop Pro, I designed everything for my website, including the headers and backing. Must admit I had great fun doing it all. I tried with both MCS and Serif, but just couldn't get the same, or even similar effects.
