Red face More free downloads - and an apology!

Firstly - an apology. I got so excited over the last lot of downloads that I accidently used the C******** word - sorry! I was digging around the C & C website and found more free downloads. They're fairly well hidden, but from the homepage if you click Top Brands - click a brand and there are downloads on several of them. The Tattered Lace page has free charisma images as well as papers, and Hunky Dory and Couture have papers too.

Sorry if you already knew about this. I can't help it, I'm from Yorkshire and love a bargain!

Mwhahahahaha, no problems using the C word chuck. It is good to wind up JM occasionally. ;)

Going to York next month for a few days. We stay at a small gust house/hotel at Clifton Green.

I will have a look see in a bit.

Hope you have a good time in York. Everywhere's a bit brown and frazzled at the moment, but the Minster looks lovely against a blue sky

'Himself' has decided he want to take his video camera around the Castle and Yorkshire museums this time. We haven't been round them for at least three years, so it will make a change. He has taken miles of footage in the railway museum, and even more miles in Homestead Park, which is a stones throw from where we stay. If the weather is decent I can see the museums not getting a look in as we trawl the river and park instead.

Looking forward to fish and chips on the first day from the chippy on Gillygate. Sarnies/cake from Cakes D'licious to eat in the park, and of course a delicious ice cream or three in the park. :) Not going next year, going to Carlisle twice instead, so have to make the most of it this year. ;)

Have a good time in York. I know that fish and chip shop well!!
I took my Grandson to the Railway Museum last year and he loved it - the only problem was that it poured with rain all day so it wasn't much fun walking around afterwards. But he was very impressed by the size of the Minster and the walk along the walls back to the railway station.

Did you know there's a temporary copy of Shakespeare's Rose Theatre and a small village which has been built behind Clifford's Tower? Tickets for the plays are very expensive but you can walk around the outside and see the food stalls etc for free. 'Himself' might get some good photos there.

Will have to tell him about that, though he has probably seen something about it on the Internet. We are there from Thursday afternoon, come back the following Tuesday morning, so probably won't get to half the places we want to go. We usually manage to run out of days, even when we have eight days in Carlisle. We still haven't made it to Hexham, keep meaning to try Penrith again, but haven't managed that either. We didn't even manage Tullie House in June. :( At least with York everything is in or around the city.
