I buy a lot from C&C but rarely watch it as i can't stand most of the presenters (although I have a sneaking fondness for Dean). I can't stand Sara Davies and don't buy her stuff, but I do like some of the Tonic stuff (but can't stand Jodie's patronising presentation). So I shall carry on buying from the website and not watching the channel.

Maybe we can get some more artsy stuff on Hochanda now and fewer bloody dies! Not sorry to lose either one from Hochanda, neither is my cup of tea, too much cut and stick for me. I've somehow always thought of C&C as more a craft channel and Hochy as more arty, tho they can be pricy. As everyone else does, I watch and check prices elsewhere. x

C&C blow Hochanda out of the water with their club for discounts - especially when they do events. I'd buy from them over Hochanda just for that. I'm not particularly keen on CC or Tonic coming back but if they are selling stuff at a reasonable price no doubt I'll be tempted...

I think it's a huge shame that they don't let Hels loose on C & C with all her techniques. They have just recently and I hope it carries on. I'm not denying that Leonie is good at what she does, but the way she twitters on really gets on my nerves.

Neither channel sell much I want to buy, and when they do, I buy it cheaper elsewhere. Bought a Joanna Sheen product directly from Joanna herself. Granted I didn't get the club discount, but I did get free postage, which was the better deal. Turned out I could have bought the thing in Morrison's for the same price Joanna sells it for. Suds, my shopping would have come to over 40 that day, so I would have received 4000 extra More points. Will have to remember that in future.

I invested in the zodiac dies a few weeks ago, bought them from CC though as I received free postage. Now 3 or so may not sound like much of a saving, but these 3's do mount up.

I'm afraid Leonie has got on my nerves for years, as do most of 'em to be honest. Can't remember the last time I had the sound on for either channel.

I've just invested in the new club gift, which is the entire set of Parchment Lace tools. I put each one into my basket, then discovered that as I had ordered more than three items I only paid the capped 3 postage for the lot.

Not interested in dies, parchment, card kits, hunkydory, C&C, Tonic, Tattered Lace and all it subsidiaries, screen printing, sewing, quilting OR quilling or even really stamping anymore. Maybe I've just grown out of crafting. I do love Leonie tho! x

Funny you should say that as my main interest is in needlecrafts, but then I think it probably always has been. Cards get thrown away, but knitted/crochet/stitched gifts last a long time. Not that I am keen on anything that involves a sewing machine, not after my efforts last week anywhoo.

I made a shopping bag from a mega cheap kit bought at Harrogate, then discovered that the measurements were not as they stated even if I had used up all the strips of fabric. No matter, I can keep one of my knitted projects, or somat of that ilk in it. I also made 14 tissue holders/purses for presents and the fluffit/woofit shop. If I ever have that darn machine out of its bag again................... Nothing intrinsically (big word for a Sunday!) it is just that compared with hand sewing, it is so darn noisy. Other crafts I can listen to music or audio books, but not while using the machine. Machine sewing also requires extensive use of the iron, which is a pain in the wotsit. Much prefer EPP to machine made patchwork anyway. ;)
