I wonder what they are doing to upset all the guests?

They arenít doing anything to upset the guests - a business goes where it gets good deals and the new C&C CEO has made some good offers to those businesses who are moving from Hochanda to C&C. All these companies have employees with mouths to feed and it is understandable that they are looking to maximise their potential audience and sales. Apart from a certain gentleman I bet the crafters from the different companies are still friends.

Wouldn't mind betting the lack of Hochanda on Virgin has something to do with it. They have had over three years to get themselves on the channel, yet apart from them saying about 18 months ago that they were having talks, zip all has happened. I know they are on Freeview and Freesat as well as Sky, but folks who have Virgin don't have access to the other platforms. From what I read they go off the air at seven pm on Freeview, so that is kick in the teeth for those who can only access it.

I thought that you had to be invited onto Virgin, or does it not work like that anymore?

They do, but they were supposed to have been having talks many moons ago. Perhaps Virgin were asking for too much money. Whatever the reason it hasn't happened as yet.

I think the lack of a presence on Virgin has definitely impacted on them - it's one reason I rarely watch it. Too much faff to try to see it on the pc and my only freeview tv is in the bedroom. I'm back with Sky now, so I could see it - but I rarely do as I'm out of the habit.
